इस series में मैंने तुम्हें बहुत कुछ बताया। 5 trading instruments। MCX account। 7 price drivers। Physical gold।
लेकिन एक चीज़ नहीं बताई — जो सबसे important है।
वो है — अपना पैसा कैसे protect करें।
Gold trade करना सीखना easy है। अपनी emotions को control करना — यही मुश्किल है।
Arvind ने MCX पर ₹80,000 लगाए। 3 महीने में ₹1,20,000 हो गए। उसे लगा — मैं expert हूँ। अगली trade में ₹1,20,000 सब लगा दिए।
Gold unexpected direction में गया। Stop loss नहीं था। ₹40,000 बचे।
यह कहानी हर दूसरे beginner की है।
आज वो rules बताता हूँ — जो Arvind को पहले पता होने चाहिए थे।
"Gold trading में जीतना skill है। लेकिन survive करना — discipline है। बिना discipline के skill waste है।"
Rule 1: Position Sizing — सबसे Important Rule
Limit exposure to 2-3% of total capital per position — yeh institutional rule hai jo retail traders ignore karte hain aur yahi unhe barbad karta hai।
Simple language में:
Position Sizing — Real Calculation
तुम्हारे पास है: ₹2,00,000 trading capital
Rule: Maximum 2-3% per trade risk
2% of ₹2,00,000 = ₹4,000 maximum risk per trade
Gold Mini में ₹1,000 per ₹1 move (per 10g) × 10 = ₹10,000 per lot
Stop loss ₹400 नीचे लगाओ तो: ₹400 × 10 = ₹4,000 max loss
इसीलिए — हर trade में risk ₹4,000 से ज़्यादा नहीं।
Rule: Maximum 2-3% per trade risk
2% of ₹2,00,000 = ₹4,000 maximum risk per trade
Gold Mini में ₹1,000 per ₹1 move (per 10g) × 10 = ₹10,000 per lot
Stop loss ₹400 नीचे लगाओ तो: ₹400 × 10 = ₹4,000 max loss
इसीलिए — हर trade में risk ₹4,000 से ज़्यादा नहीं।
✓ Capital का 2-3% से ज़्यादा कभी एक trade में risk मत करो।
Arvind ने ₹1,20,000 — यानी अपना 100% — एक trade में लगाया। वो rule तोड़ने का नतीजा था।

Stop Loss — हर trade में। हमेशा।
Gold ₹1,000 per 10 grams ek hi session mein move kar sakta hai volatile days pe। Without stop loss, ek bad trade weeks of gains wipe out kar sakti hai। Stop loss optional नहीं — यह insurance है।

Overnight Position — News देखे बिना मत रखो
Holding trades overnight without knowing what US economic data releases the next morning — yeh ek common beginner mistake hai। US में रात को Fed statement आए, CPI data आए — सुबह gap-down खुल सकता है।

Revenge Trading — कभी नहीं
Loss हुआ। मन करता है — "अभी trade लगाओ, recover करो।" यही सबसे dangerous moment है। Revenge trading often follows a loss and is driven by the desire to recover money quickly — yeh decision quality ko destroy kar deta hai। Loss के बाद — screen बंद करो। अगले दिन देखो।

Profit के बाद Size मत बढ़ाओ — अचानक
Overconfidence after consecutive wins tempts traders to abandon risk rules and increase size। Arvind ने यही किया। 2-3 consecutive profits के बाद — systematically size बढ़ाओ, अचानक नहीं।

Plan पहले — Trade बाद में
Set your entry, target, and stop loss BEFORE you place the trade — not after। Your trading plan must be documented before positions open, not invented during drawdowns। Screen देखकर decide करोगे — emotion जीतेगा।

MCX trading ka tax: MCX futures income को "business income" treat किया जाता है — capital gains नहीं। मतलब — तुम्हारे total income में add होकर slab rate से tax। अगर 30% bracket में हो — profit का 30% tax। Consult a qualified tax advisor before selling any gold investment — tax laws can change and individual situations vary। SGB maturity पर capital gains tax-free है — long term investors के लिए best।

"थोड़ी देर में वापस आएगा" — यह सोचकर stop loss skip करना। सबसे common। सबसे expensive।
Fix: हर trade में stop loss mandatory। कोई exception नहीं।

Arvind जैसा। Profit होने पर सब कुछ अगली trade में। एक trade में सब lose।

Placing trades during low-volume morning hours aur poor fills milna — yeh ek common mistake hai। सुबह 9-10 बजे volume कम। Evening 6-11 PM — international market active, volume high, better fills।
Fix: MCX gold evening session prefer करो — 6 PM onwards।

Rumor पर Trade लगाना
WhatsApp group में "gold ₹2 lakh ho jayega" — यह पढ़कर immediately buy। Rumor trading।
Fix: Confirmed news sources — Reuters, ET Markets, Bloomberg। Rumor नहीं।

हर घंटे Price Check करना
Checking prices every 5 minutes aur making emotional decisions instead of following a plan। Screen addiction। Emotional decisions।
Fix: Trade plan पहले बनाओ। Day में 2-3 बार check — बस।

Tax नहीं Consider करना
₹50,000 profit हुआ — खुश हुए। IT return में disclose नहीं किया। Notice आया।
Fix: MCX trading income हर साल ITR में declare करो। CA से help लो।

Journal नहीं रखना
A useful journal records setup, entry, stop, target, result, emotional state — yeh trader ko apni mistakes identify karne deta hai। बिना journal के — same mistake बार-बार।
